Melissa Teves

Melissa has always had a strong desire to find a holistic career helping others. She has worked as an Occupational Therapy Assistant since 2005 because of its all-inclusive approach to health care. Although she has always been active and had a love for yoga, it wasn't until a car accident in 2015 that she dedicated much of her time to yoga. She found that the healing benefits of a regular practice, coupled with meditation helped her to heal both physically and emotionally, once again finding that mind-body connection that was lost. She obtained her 200 hr. YTT certification from Raffa Yoga in Cranston, RI. She continues to expand her knowledge through various workshops and retreats. She hopes that students will leave her class feeling stronger, more balanced and with a greater sense of well-being.

Sara Woltz

Sara recived her B.S. in Exersice Science from the University of South Carolina in 2011and her A.S. in Physical Therapy from Baystate College in 2014. Having danced competitively since she was 12, and professionally since age 18. Sara has traveled the entire East Coast teaching and performing with the best. Some of her favorite times include being with the James Brown Band. Because they make you GET DOWN and FEEL GOOD!! After a hamstring injury slowed her dance career, she found yoga in 2015. After years of her own PT and daily yoga practice, she pursued her license to teach. She trained under Tanya Dumaine at Divine Power Yoga in Fall River and recieved her 200hr -RYT in December 2018. Sara believes in the healing power of weaving PT and Yoga. These two disciplines helped  Sara regain her physical body after her injury,  as well as the positive mindset she lost after her dance career ended. She currently works as a PTA at Hawthorn medical Associates in Dartmouth Ma. She teaches at Power and Grace as well as other studios in the New Bedford area. Expect some funky beats, therapy infused well choreographed flows when you take her class.
